November 2013 Hit Listers

Hi guys! This list is coming in pretty late. I'll just keep it short though since it's already a little late. ^^
 1. Dear My BB Cream
-This one is actually pretty old and is my sister's. I just gave it a try since she wasn't using it anymore. It's actually a good BB cream. Probably one of the best I've tried.

2. iWhite Korea Aqua Moisturizing Cream
-This was recommended to me by my friend and I ended up liking it. A lot. It's a cream-type moisturizer that turns watery upon application.

3. Watsons Green Tea Purifying Gel
-I've been looking for a good spot pimple corrector and decided to try this one. It takes a while to work but it does work and it's non-sticky so applying it throughout the day is no trouble.

4. Revlon Lip Butter in Tutti Frutti
-I bought this for my sister a while back. It was on sale I think. i just tried it once then end up borrowing it a lot often since I really liked the color payoff. I thought it was gonna be too glossy and balm-y but it wasn't so it was pretty good.

5. Cream Bath Wash from Daiso
-I bought this since I wanted a good wash for my brushes. Using hair shampoo is quite wasteful so I figured I'd try this since it's so big. It actually does the cleaning pretty well. And it's such a huge bottle to boot.

6. Bobo Tiny Pots from Landmark
-I keep a couple of pots like these in hand just in case I open up samples or need to mix up a couple of colors, like with blushes and stuff. These ones are actually pretty cool because the designs are simply adorable. Such a great find I think.
 7. Neutrogena Deep Clean Brightening Mulberry Ultra Foam Cleanser
-I've been meaning to try this for the longest time but had to wait because I still had a tube of facial wash. I'm actually glad I tried this. It makes the skin feel so soft and it smells so good.

 8. Tony Moly Silky Glaze Fruit Hair Spray
- Definitely the best hair spray I've ever tried. I'm used to the ones that make your hair stiff and wire-like and most of them smell, well, bad. This is just plain awesome because you can hardly tell that you have it on. It smells great and your hair won't be so wire-like.

9. Pony (Park Hye Min)

- One of my current favorite Korean make up artists. She looks so cute and her tutorials are very easy to follow. I also like how she uses a diverse set of items. She's just adorable and you should really check out her videos. Check one of them here.

10. King 2 Hearts
-Aside from The Heirs, I'm actually not watching any new dramas but one of the recent ones I've rewatched is King 2 Hearts. I love Ha Ji Won and I think playing a bad-ass role suits her best and being a North Korean soldier is definitely up her alley. Playing opposite her is Lee Seung-gi as a South Korean "prince." It's a pretty great drama to watch since you get to witness such a funny love story unfolding.

And that's it! Hope you had a great weekend. Cheerio!

Beauty Buffet Facial Masks

Hi. I don't know if I've mentioned that a few months ago, our camera got stolen. It was your run-of-the-mill digital camera, but it was good and our only camera. I then decided to save up (meaning no unnecessary make-up purchases) for a new one because, well, we kinda need it. My need of a camera equates to this blog needing pictures. This blog survived all this time because I kept on borrowing my dad's phone. =)

Anyway, now that we have a new run-of-the-mill camera, I'm hoping to make this blog more alive and updated than usual.

Whenever my sister would see me putting on a facial mask, she'd ask me why I wasn't taking pictures. First, I always forget and ...nope. That's about it. I just forget. Hence, this collective review on the Beauty Buffet Facial Masks I've already tried.

Each mask is 39 bucks, but Watsons sometimes have this 2 for 59 promo. The last two I bought were on sale. Made in Taiwan

The Verdict:

With its price, cute packaging, and effects, I think Beauty Buffet Facial Masks are good buys. The first two (pink and green) gave my skin a bit of glow after I used it, but my favorite would have to be the green tea and grape seed because it made my pores look fine.

These, by the way, are your typical facial masks, with the slits and all. But, what I love about these masks is that they don't drip. My sister has tried masks before and she had to put her hand out when she takes the mask out the container because it's dripping wet. That's essence going to waste so I'd rather the masks don't drip. BTW, it has a plastic mask dummy on, kinda like a sticker that you peel off. It makes it easier to open up the mask without ripping it apart.

If you're into facial masks for relaxation and comfort, I'd suggest you try these from Beauty Buffet. These can be found at any branch of Watsons. I've heard that their charcoal one is really good (it's color gray I think) but I've yet to try that one.

What are your fave masks? Lemme know. Cheerio!

Look What I Bought #3

Hi guys. I've been following To the Beautiful You on KimchiDrama these past days that I haven't gotten around on fixing the pics for this blog. Really sorry about that. Anyway, just a quick post to show you guys what I bought this weekend. Review on the beauty products to follow after thorough testing.

Actually, the only thing I bought here was the card peeking near the Kim Hyun Joong mask. It's a cardboard Club 20 VIP card that allows access/invitations to make-up events and the sort. Such as that one with Son Dae Sik in Trinoma held a couple of days ago. Too bad I purchased the card a little too late. The freebies/ samples are (5 pcs. of of each kind [essence, BB Cream, and Sun Cream], a mini box of toner and lotion, and a lemon mask) I let my sister get whatever she liked, and this is what's left for me to try.

The membership card is worth 150 Php. Worth it, considering the freebies I got. =)

I got these at Greenhills. The blue ribbon (40 Php) and my sister's crepe earrings (70 Php) are from Girl Shoppe, and the peace bracelet (50 Php) is just a random find.

I got curious with these Beauty Buffet masks because of the cute packaging. These are from Watsons, and they're 39 Php each. I've already tried the green one, and I think it works just fine.

Any new buys this week? Lemme know. Cheerio!
